A pic of my 75 g today 1 year details.

No change , same bulbs , just new.
I just ordered a teal green montipora cap to go with my orange and purple cap. I will get it then and take pic
 
Tony, my tank is a little deeper than yours. Do you think I should go with those same bulbs? My inhabitants will be similar to yours...Also, remind me of what schedules your lights are on...

You could always put lower light corals at the very bottom, like mushrooms, I would like my favia , the sphere in the middle of my tank thats on the sand, to be lower, it colors darker on the sides not getting that much light. So as long as you are not putting SPS corals on the sand you should be ok :) .Super Actnics come on at 7am, actnic white at 8 am then the actnic white turn off at 6pm and the super actnic turn off at 7pm. Then I have two moon lights that are on all the time.
 
so 12 hours on for the super acts and 10 hours on the 50/50s, right? My viewing of the tank will usually be after work, so I will adjust the light times to my viewing time. Interesting... I too have 2 moonlights that I just wired in to stay on all the time!
 
I removed my banana wrasse today. he ws starting to get bad, he was biteing my mandarin. So he is now at the LFS. While I was at the LFS they had a re Linkia just in from the wholesaler , still in the water fromt he wholsaler , so I got him. He is acclimating slowly now. I also got 2 emerald crabs to replace the ones that the banana ate. I still need to replace some snails. I will not replace the hermits.
 
There is no re Linkia, was suppose to say red Linkia, or maybe its orange. Long acclimation then straight to display.

I have been playing with an old medium format film camera lately from 1956 , an Agfa Isolette III folding camera.

Wow! Tony, the tank is amazing! If that is not a good pic... what is? Hey, by the way, what order do you have your lights? I mean, Actinic, 50/50 actinic, 50/50 or what? Thanks!
 
Just read thru this whole thing. That is one hell of a nice tank. Makes me want that 75 sooner:) Thanks for the tips and ideas!
 
Livestock list?
I can tell you what fish I have , corals I am starting to forget names.
1 naso tang, 1 yellow tang, 2 royal grammas, 2 firefish, 2 maroon clowns, 1 spotted mandarin, 1 lawnmower, I havnt seen my yellow watchman goby for a few weeks. I got rid of my banana wrasse. I have a sand sifting star, a new orange linkia, not many hermits or snails left from the banana wrasse, so I will be replaceing some of them, 2 emerald crabs. 1 RBTA
An attempt at the corals
2 Hammers, 1 torch, 4 candy cane, 4 colors of zoanthids,1 staghorn, 1 birds nest, 4 monti caps, 2 monti digi, 3 acros, pompom xenia, 1 favia, 1 Alveopora (flower pot), 1 open brain.
1 squamosa clam.
I think thats about it.
 
Looks great tony, top notch in my book. That RBTA and two Monti Caps in the upper right are just awsome.

I have my new website done, take a peak by clicking my red house and tell me what you think. Take a peak at how fast that brown monti cap of mine is fanning out and growing in the upper left. Getting out of control I think, but I just don't want to touch it, because it looks so good and natural.
 
you have a beautiful tank. I like how you avoided the rock wall effect and made your structures look more natural. Two thumbs up for your rockwork especially
 
Toy, how do the Royal Grammas get on? I was warned against having two for aggression reasons....
