Hideous. I don't know why you bother. Break it down and I'll be by to collect it all.

SERIOUSLY, WOW.

Scott tank has really grown out compared to when I saw it last. Looks like your doing everything right! Sailfin and monos look really good too! Makes me happy to see they're still kickin!

Only one word here AWESOME

Thanks Amy

Sailfin and Monos are doing great.

Now I just need this weather to calm down so I can get some work done and buy a decent camera. I am still using a 10 year old Nikon Coolpix 5400 (non DSLR).

People with tanks like that don't need a fancy camera.
You could've taken the picture of that tank with a cell phone and wowed everyone.

I like your coloration, a lot. I have a few questions, though.

Do you get decent growth with just 20k bulbs?

Would you say that the photo accurately depicts the tank? Sometimes photos don't look exactly like what we see.

I run 10k and I am not happy. I was thinking of getting some t-5 supplimentation for my two 400 watt 10k, but if you are getting growth and color with those radiums then I may reconsider.

Kung, I was at Scott's maybe 2 months, maybealittle longer ago, and I can tell you that thesepicturesI'm sure still do not do this tank justice. Also, what surprised me the most about the tank was that those corals when I saw them were at the biggest about the size of my finger, the growth of them is amazing to me. Scott obviously knows what he is doing. It's amazing to see something like that in before and after.

I can see that he knows what he is doing. I want to know what he is doing, too. I REALLY want to know.

Thanks Scott! How many total watts are you running on those lights? At 27", that's a good candidate for an array of Aquaillumination. :)

I am running 4 - 400w radiums only for a total of 1600watts. I run my lights for 8 hours a day. Yes it is expensive. I think LED lighting has a long way to come before I would ever consider switching from MH to LED.
