If I had some extra change laying around, I would try the Rod's stuff as long as it is legit - which it sounds like it is...the listed ingredients sound great. After I hear from you all and you all plan on ordering it again, then I will more than likely sign up. Do you guys use the DT's for your coral?

Also, what do you think about SeaChem products overall - most of you have been in this far longer than I have.

I tried posting this in my gallery, but said I could post nothing larger than 50K!!!

I am going to try to link to my site...hope the picture comes up, I am experimenting here.

My clown/damsel tank needs help...I think I need some serious calcium - had good coral algae growth 1.5 years ago...but now it is dying off, also having a small brown diatom bloom. Switched the aquascape around so that could be the reason - nitrates shot up...everything else was nil. PH 8.3

Any helpful suggestions would be greatly appreciated...thanks.

Dt's isn't bad, but the little pump bottle of stuff is better. Can't rember teh name, but it is kept in the freezer. It is a lot more concentrate than DTs. I have used that for about a year or so now. Its around $25 a bottle, but I have had it for a year, Dt's was costing me about $10-15 a bottle and lasted maybe a month or so. I know I was over feeding teh dts a little, but I like the frozen stuff better.

If so, yes that stuff is awesome...I used it for a while and you would have thought it was like feeding the fish candy...they went nuts over it. I have to buy some more...our freezer went out and that was one of the things we had to throw away...need to get some more. Go figure, that was about the time my stuff was looking a lot better too...hmm do ya think there's a link there - DUH, OF COURSE THERE IS!!! I didn't realize the stuff would last that long. The fishes' color was more saturated as well...
