a question about pipefish

I am not planning on getting one of these beautiful fish, but am wondering how one would go about caring for such a fish. I assume they are very peaceful and would require tankmates that are the same. Do they only eat live brine like most seahorses or can they be coaxed into eating frozen foods? What are the optimal water conditions for keeping one happy and healthy? I'm wondering because these fish are one thing in this hobby that I see quite often but know almost nothing about.

I have two banded pipefish in my seahorse tank (many people don't recommend this though)
They eat frozen mysis, and need a few feeds each day like seahorses. While mine eat frozen, if you did get any they would probably be WC and you would need to train them onto frozen, but can eat BS, copepods etc

Although their snout is small they will eat large pieces, and if it's too big they have a few bites.

If you were to put them into a reef tank I would QT them until they were eating frozen, unless you are sure there is enough live food in your tank for them.

They are very friendly and watch me when I go near the tank, and are always first on the scene at dinner time.
Also, if you get two males, they will probably fight- and then you'll have one:(
