A reef bathtub?

Now you're talking! Bathtub is just thinking too small; if you're going to dream of an unusual reef, dream big! I love the pool idea. To tell the truth, I've honestly thought that someday, maybe if I win the lottery, I'd love a place with an indoor pool that has a glass roof. I'd turn that pool into a reef faster than my husband could say 'what on earth are you doing honey?' I'd have natural sun to supplement the lighting (maybe some hanging 1000W MH fixtures, though that might really hurt when the electric bill came around), and we could swim with our fish and corals - how neat would that be?

You could use the tub overflow to surface skim!

years and years and years of soap getting saturated in that tub CAN leach back into your tank... not to mention the metal drain can get rusty... cool idea though
