A Reef Tank in the Desert - +/- 1,400 gallon system

:) i like em

Thanks David!

I thought of you yesterday. I adhered a few corals to the back side of my tank. I am debating now whether or not I should purchase a couple more Radion units.... For both in the rear of the tank and for my seahorse tank.

Nice quilts by the way!

Beautiful photos. Every time I get overwhelmed and second guess my desire to go through with this project I simply come here to be reminded of the possibilities. If anything, kudos for keeping my dream alive.

Thanks Hawg Pharm!

Go forth with your aquarium build! It's challenging, fun and very, very rewarding!

I appreciate all of the compliments!

OMG, Now that is one active reef. You can probably just sit there for hours watching the tank. Seeing it like this really puts a perspective on all those boxes of live fish and corals you have been receiving from FedX :-)

Thanks for listening and providing a full tank shot. I can't wait for the longer one he makes with the lights on bright. make sure its a minimum of 10 minutes. :-)

Thank you Dotcommer!

A Reef Tank in the Desert, Volume III is pretty much done. It's 5 minutes long. Just have to edit one thing and it will be uploaded.

Sometime this week!

Dan, I was able to watch your fish room video. Well done buddy! Watching that video cheered me up after the 49ers loss tonight! I love the catwalk behind the tank! Looks like you had a tank for just about everything in your fish room! That's awesome!!! Great system buddy!

The 49ers really ****ed me off! How about the officiating in the last 30 seconds???? Definitely a good game though.

Thanks for the kudos on the fish room. I still need to get a better exhaust system in the room. My son had several friends over this weekend to work on an english project. I was going in and out of the fish room and overheard one of his girlfriends say "Ewe, it smells like SeaWorld here!" I of course don't smell a thing!

The scaffold has been a big help!

I was born and raised in Buffalo, so I complete understand.

The amazing thing is I'll admit to being a buffalo fan.

Joe, I used to never miss a game and went to a few. A friend of ours played for the Bills for ten years, John Fina #70. It gets cold up there!

John Fina is a big boy. I remember him. That goes back to the days of Jim Kelly. It is a small world for sure. I was just up in Buffalo this weekend and it was 8 degrees when I left (had blizzards on the way up, while I was there and on the way home). I do not miss the cold, nor the snow, at all and hope to move to Florida in about a year. Just think if that happens I'll be in the same area as Wayne and you would have both of us to deal with on your trips.:eek1:
