A sump tank or not?

I have found the best reason for a sump is keeping a constant water level in the display tank. Its already been said why skimmers are the best filtration, but I would like to add that they work best with a constant water level. Part of your sump will have a constant water level, and thats where you put the skimmer. Check into the Coralife Super Skimmers. A lot of people like them here, and if they arent offered over there, I know you can get them on Ebay.

due to your location look at Aquamedic, Deltec, DAS, all are good skimmers.

Thanks a lot for the recommendations - I've been looking at the Deltec MCE600 and the aquamedic turboflotor 1000, but I didn't know if they were any good - at least I know I'm looking at the right sort of equipment (i.e. good skimmers, not rubbish ones).
