A venturi after pump skimmer, opinions

I am debating buying a venturi skimmer where the venturi is located after pump. Like life reef skimmer and so.
My only concern is the noise level. I saw some comments saying its loud noise and some says its not.

Whats your experiences with the noise level.

I run a Lifereef skimmer and with a Sicce pump, it is very quiet. The air for the venturi is pulled from the collection cup so you don't really hear the air. Prior to the Lifereef I had a MRC-1 Beckett head skimmer. It made a little more noise but nothing earth shattering.

Thanks for the feedback. I am sold on the skimmer but now debating with myself to buy the sump setup also
