Just a brief funny story about a visit I had on Wed from Indianapolis Power and Lights.
I was working from home and heard a knock on the door. Older guy with a hard hat was at the door. Tells me that my power usage per square foot past some critical value and he was required to determine where the usage was coming from in the house.
I started thinking... ah pot growing.
Told the guy - I have 5 fish tanks in the house.
Guy came in, spent 15-20 min bullshitting about the tanks. Called his supervisor to brag about what he was getting paid to do, and then toured the outside.
Of course I also forgot that I just put in a koi pond in my backyard, so that was even more power usage.
Any one every get a visit from IPL or their power company?
