Considering your luck man I thought I would give you the heads up on a possible mishap that could be avoided.

With a big calcium reactor and low demand it is very possible too. Basically it usally isn't an issue when using 2 part or doing water changes to keep alk up but you can fry your SPS if your Alk gets to high and is held there.

16 dkh plus and you can get problems. First you get dull colors then stuff can start STNing. I did it once when I first started using the CR so I thought I would give you the heads up.

Heh, thanks for the heads up, i have noticed a steady climb in Alk over the last week, i just checked it and it is at 13.4. I thortlled teh CA reactor down quite a bit. I think its gonna take a while to find the sweet spot on this thing.

I really appreciate the heads up, glad to know ppl are looking out for me.

Low enough bubble count to just lower the pH in the reactor. pH set at around 6.7 on the controller and then set the reactor to supply the amount of efluent to meet the cal/alk demands of the tank.

Its pretty easy.

How's the reactor coming JB?
