Abalone snails

I originally had 3 small abalone snails that did a fantastic job keeping my glass spotless but a few days ago I stated noticing an ever increasing number of them! On the last count I now have 25! So my question is how easy it to get them to breed like this and should I be concerned. Any information would be appreciated

all snails multiply like rabbits in any healthy tank...
you just found out how easy it is to get them to breed

I know snails breed my Mexican turbos and atrochus snails have never spawned any little ones and the abalones have been in the tank for nearly 1 year and have just suddenly gone crazy. I might start bagging them and take them to the lfs
