Does the bucket cover have a plastic tab you must rip off in order to twist off the cover?
I received two 160G buckets today and I didn't see any tabs. All I had to do is twist the cover open. I this normal?
 
I've always wondered that myself.

I think its normal Norm.

Every bucket of the IO or RC I've got has been this way...

the old style buckets had tabs that you needed to rip off. New 160 gallon buckets don't have the peel off tabs.
