First, their tests where done in dip or quarantine type environments, not in full reef tanks and they still found contact time to be a major factor. Their observations are from controlled observations. Where are yours from? If you are going to stand up against their recommendations, you better have some back up to support your claim. Like I said, if you have any observations that are truly relevant, you should report them to Eric. He is much more qualified then yourself to recommend a treatment.
They've also done it with shaved pills, which makes the test totally useless.
The drug is not evenly distributed across the pill, which is why it drives me nuts that people always reccomend the bigger pill, when in fact for smaller tanks, the smaller pill would give you a more likely chance to get the dosage you're looking for.
I'm going off the fact that every time I've treated in a dip environment, they've been dead in under an hour. I probably use a much higher dose than them though, becuase I dont trust the makeup of interceptor and its uneven mix, so I usually use about 1/3-1/2 of a small pill on a 10 gallon tank.
