Absolutely necessary to feed gbta?

I just got a new gbta. He's healthy as far as I know. Poops every day to two days. Do I need to feed it? Or is led enough?

I tried mysis but It didn't stick to the tentacles. Mouth is not open.

I have never feed anemones. No need to!

Light is enough but I feed my RBTAs once a week. God gave them a mouth for a reason. Lol.
Sounds to me your nem is either too new to your tank or not happy/healthy.

Thanks guys. I had alk issues earlier but it's corrected now five days of recovery. Alk was 5dkh. Maybe I'll give the feeding a try later on. What do you guys do for powerheads? Mine got sucked in for like 30 seconds and I don't use it now...

That is what happened to a big carpet I had. It did not survive it's encounter with the powerhead. I haven't had the heart to get another or any other type of anemone for fear it would meet the same end.
