ac jr acting up... again

Hello.. twice this week, tonight being the second time my 400 watt halide has shut off unscheduled. it is supposed to shut off at 8pm. it is 7:10. it, I predict will turn on and off every 10 mins or so until 8pm. it did this exact same thing last monday. I unplugged the power source to re-boot last week and it worked for the 5 days fine til now. Im not worried about the light, im worried about being away for 3 or 4 days and having skimmer,reactor,etc shut down. that would, needless to say, make me unhappy.

Maybe something is going bad . I had a bad nano ballast affect my controller which did the same thing at first as yours but later disabled all commands later .

I hope not.. the ballast is months old. got any suggestions on how to see if the ballast is going bad?
