AC Jr head unit

To any fine member of PA,

Is there anyway that I can just purchase an AC Jr. w/serial port and temp without the DC8? My brother is an electrician and has wired all the plug so I don't have use for one. I am going to use X10 for the few items I plan on controlling with it.
