AC Pro I/O

1. Am I correct to assume that there are 2 input pins and program should refer to them as "Switch1" and "Switch2" ?

2. Is it correct that to set each input to ON I need to short it to the ground (common) pin?

3. How do I buy a Minidin to open end cable?

Ken,

Thanks.

Mine is AC Pro and not ACIII. I looked at ACIII manual and there are indeed 4 inputs. Not so in the AC Pro according to the manual.

Also nowhere in the AC Pro manual no tokens like Switch1 and Switch2 are mentioned but only Switch. So I am a bit confused.

Yossia,
The switches are referred to as Switch1 and Switch2 in the ACPRO. The switch input is "Closed" when shorted to the ground pin. For example:

If Switch1 Closed Then FOO ON
If Switch1 Open Then FOO OFF

would turn on FOO when switch1 is connected to the ground pin.

You'll have to order the I/O cable directly from us (408-578-3022). The part number is MINIDIN8CABLE and the cost is $15.
