My AC Jr came in a couple of days ago so I finally got a chance to install it tonight. I ended up getting the DC8 and serial port as well.
There is a lot of jargon in the controls of this device; I need some help. I was able to calibrate the ph and it now reads 8.19. The temp is a little different than my ranco contoller for my chiller. I will need to add my thermometer to the controller, but for now, I just want to make sure my light come on and go off whenthey are supposed to.

Sorry that I missed the meeting tonight, but I really wanted to get this thing up and running.

Any simplification would be greatly appreaciated. Thanks

I run the AC3, pretty easy to setup if you program it from the PC. Basically you assign names to all your plugs, and schedule certain functionality in basic logic statements. Its serially based so remember that when you program things - it will read them from top to bottom.

Outside of your basic if, then, else type of stuff the logic board has built in variables that you can call (like sunrise, sunset times). The manual has these special values for reference, although it really is a crappy manual and you have to hunt for them in their 'samples.'

One thing I will recommend is you download the latest manual and firmware from Neptunes' site. I noticed that even buying it new, the manual that actually came with it was 'wrong.' Go figure... There is also a forum dedicated to Neptune here on RC if you are so inclined.

Thanks Mike. I just want to make sure that my lights come on this morning at 9am. That is the main thing. The rest, I will alter until it works itself out.
