Acan colors

There is a person getting rid of his setup and he purchased some acans with some nice colors. He placed them under led's and they turned orange. If I purchase them and put them under t5's, will they get there colors back?

I cant say if those will for sure but odds are good. I bought a large frag last week from a reefer with LEDs It was a purple with a pinkish center. After only 6 days under T5s it has changed a more maroon with a crazy looking orange and pink ringed center so odds may be good yours will to.

Most of the corals will morph on color. How do I know. Because I've used full spectrum LEDs, metal halides and now using t5 and they've change color.

It is likely they will change color again, though they may not look exactly like they were before leds. They could end up looking better also...

IMO acans and zoa's tend to look nicer under T5 with the right combo of bulbs.
