acan compatability? one colony sting another

Why do some acan colonys get along in close proximity? Yet some acan colonys will use sweeper tenticals to sting and kill off other acan colonys.

Some specie of acans dont play well together, at all. Echinatas and subechinatas will make quick work of any lordhowensis, or micro. Just group them by specie and you'll be fine.

whats the easiest way to tell the specie by colour and shape or is identifing not that easy

Yes, As long as you have all the same species together like A. Lordhowensis with the others. All my colonies are touching in my 120, since i had to squeeze 75 colonies in there. They have been fine no fighting.
