Acan frags

Here's the acan I spoke about in another post. I'll offer frags to interested parties at $20 a polyp, but it'll be a couple of weeks before I can make them available. This one will be hard to frag due to the thickness of the rock it's on, but I should be able to get quite a few polyps. If you'd be interested, LMK and I'll try and frag them up soon to allow them time to heal, etc. At this time, I don't want to ship.

I would like to be put down for a future frag. I will be through in October, Nov. and December so whenever you get to it is fine. I can also bring back Gary's because I know he wants one..... Without him even posting so yet  Am I right Gary?...

Dave could you please describe husbandry requirements? I would like to start a pico tank and wonder if they would do well there. If not there maybe my main tank. If I think I can keep them I would like one polyp please. Are you planning on fragging others? I really liked your tank in your kitchen.

Easiest corals in the world to keep, IMO. They like to be fed but not required unless you're looking for growth. Lighting needs are moderate, too much lighting bleaches them out (depending on the morph, of course). I do occasionally frag the ones in the kitchen, but they are much more expensive than this one, some going for well over $100 a polyp. Check online and you'll see some for as much as $600 a polyp, I can point you to some sources but you'll need to email me for that info.

Put me down for two polyps, Dave. A few of us from the Chatt. reef club will be up that way to pick these up in Oct. I know a few more guys would like a frag as well.

Dave thanks. Yeah I figured that tank was worth a SUV. I think I will stick with the um cheaper aspect of this hobby and go for the Yugo version. I would like 1 polyp though.

Singles may be tough on this one, but I'll see what I can do. No SUV, but a couple of mortgage payments perhaps. Spread out over several years it's not too bad. Just don't catch the bug!

I'll take two or three, depending on how the axe falls. Angela read me like a cheap novel;). Keep me in mind for some of the other nicities, too;). (Did I just make up another word?)

Sorry, all, to not get back to you on this frag. Just getting home from work. Salt newbie01 had the first request in before anyone, and everyone else falls in the order shown in this thread. Availability will all depend on how the fragging goes. I've got somewhere around 40 polyps, so I should be able to satisfy most of the demand. However, I'll likely save more than half for myself, but it all depends on how difficult the fraggin' goes. If others are interested, just post your requests here. Once fragged, I'll just go down the list with what's available. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Of course I've got others or can make others (Acans and Micros), like a small 2 polyp frag of my avitar, but unfortunately demand exceeds supply, I'm not going to start a bidding war, that's not my style, and I don't know how to be fair with that particular frag. That's why I'm just keeping it for the moment, perhaps to trade it on down the road.

Dave

I've not had time yet to attempt fragging this but should be able to attempt it next weekend. Stay tuned...

OK, I fragged this colony. I have 5 singles and 1 frag which is 1 plus 2 half polyps. Assuming they survive, 4 of the singles will be $20, and the smaller one will be $15. The other frag will be $35. If you had indicated an interest previously, LMK if still interested before Monday night. Colors have faded a bit since fragging, but should pick back up. I should be home next w/e if you want to p/u, but please not before then as I want to make sure they're going to survive before letting them go (and feed them at least once). Paypal will be accepted if you want to pay the fees. I also have a single 4-polyp frag of my avitar if anyone is interested, but will be more expensive :(

Dave

I'll take the larger one, if it is available. Danieljames is coming that way on the 8th to see fishdoc. That may be a perfect chance for transport. LMK.
