Acan help!

I have 3 new acans. The first couple of days they looked great and were puffed up with tentacles out. Now they look deflated and I never see tentacles. They are in the sand bed. Low flow. Any advice?

I run Prime hd lights. Been feeding mysis and reef roids.

Yeah and watch what fish you purchase as well, had a spotted hawkfish and flame angel both pick on acans, took them out now acans coming back

leave them alone and they will be fine. acans go thru cycles of looking great, then terrible, then great

I'll second that. My experience is that my new ones go through the awesome-to-ugly-to-awesome cycle a couple times and then they seem happy about 95% of the time with an occasional bad day.

Low flow, low light. If the heads move or sway it's too much. They need nutrients so no3 needs to be present. Colours will be better with wavelengths at 420nm eg uv ;)
