Acan white string

I have a three head Acan that has been doing well. It puts out feeders at night and I have been feeding it a few times a week. I noticed the other day the smallest head had a clear whitish string hanging off it. It's gone now but was wondering what that was and if it's a problem. Thanks

could it be just somethig that was floating in the tank? i have never seen a string on any of my acans.
