acans and blastos

Hello all I am newly interested in getting lps for my tank and I have taken a liking to the acans and blastos. Now my question is why are there people selling these for hundreds of dollars ? I mena I saw one acans that the seller was selling for like 40 a polyp with a minimum buy to get like 300-400 for a frag ? What is so special about them that i don't know ? I know some sps are high priced beacause there hard to get or the colonies that are rarly cultavated. Is this the same for the blast0os and acans ? THank you for you input and help. Like I said I am new to the lps so I really don;t have a clue lol. also if any of you guys have any frags that aren't 300 bucks im game lol thnak you

Supply and demand. Just be patient, and the price will come down. Unless you are like the select few idiots who will pay top dollar just to be the first kid on their block to brag about their new purchase.

Yup, ppl pay the rediculous prices so no reason to lower the prices. But there are good deals out there for these corals, just takes more hunting. Last year this time most lords were 300-500 now you can get the common ones for a few bucks a polyp.

Like every one else said, supply and demand.

Now days if you pay more than 50 for a good frag of green/red striped acan you are getting ripped off. Its the crazy colors that only a few people have that cost 100s of dollars. Blastos on the other hand are very difficult to frag and dont grow that fast. Most colonies are around 100 for a nice one.

hmmm well i guess i gotta keep hunting then I can't seem to find anyhting thats worth it. I only find ones that are way over priced but don't really look all that great

Try your local club. A lot of ppl will trade or give you good deals if you return the favor at some point.

Indo acans, I'd pay no more then $8 a ployp if I really liked them. Normal I'd pay $5 a polyp.
