I bought a Acanthastrea lordhowensis and was wondering where did you place yours?

For me they seem to do better under lower, bluer light.

Exactly as above, I also noticed when placed in low-moderate flow they tend to "puff" out more. Also try feeding with marine fauna LPS pellets they work great for me.

i allways place them o the sadbed or first rock up.

Mine is on top and doing well. I feed it some dried shrimp once a week and it's multiplied from 3 to 5 heads kinda quickly.

i keep mine about mid way up the rockwork and feed frozen mysis every other day

I suppose it depends on your lighting. I have 4 X 54W T5's and keep mine on the sand bed.
