Acanthastrea placement advice needed

my tank is 30" deep. 250 watt on one side, 400 on the other. DSB.

where should i put the Acan? i know lower light, but on the sand bed or on a rock surface?

I have mine on the SB It does great ( under a 400 and 250 kind of in between the 2)

Only thing you have to worry about on the sand bed is it getting covered in sand if you have any gobies, wrasses, or anything else that digs in the sand at all. Most of mine are on the sandbed, or up just a little.
