So I was looking at the wysiwyg section of vivd aquarium and I came across a Ultra Acanthophyllia I've never seen it before and was wondering if anyone knows anything about them.. Are they acans or are they completely different?

No its not an acan it is a modern coral aka meat coral. They are really cool. Some have pretty sweet colors and can call for a hefty price tag. I have a solid green one.

Oh okay. Yeah this one was 350 bucks. A little out of my price range. Thanks for the help.

They're the largest single-polyp coral known. They can get quite large (12-18" diameter for a single polyp isn't uncommon, but most you'll find in the hobby are around 5-10"), so make sure you have the space first.

Absolutely incredible corals, my favorite LPS by far, love mine. I've never had trouble keeping them, in both T5 and LED. They handle a large range of water parameters very well.
