accidentally got this great pic of my pink tube by playing with the settings on my Cannon A80. not photoshopped unless you count using mspaint to add my name

anyway thought i'd share i'm pretty proud. it is a little hazy

Out of curiosity what settings did you use on your Cannon A80? I'm going to do a little experimenting myself here shortly. Awesome shot!

it was on manual mode.. either iso 200 or 400 can't remember.. i think 1/30 and i manually focus'd the macro.. just hit the flower thing twice and it will let you manually focus.

only reason i got the shot was i had never messed with the iso settings before and wanted to see what it did. i'm still not totally sure. guess i should read the manual.

I'll try a few things this weekend and see what happens. Hopefully I get half as lucky with my shots. Not even sure if my camera came with a manual:lol:
