i've read both, fast acclimation, slow acclimation. which have you used? if the anemone arrives with little water, should i fast acclimate to get into the water fast?

I always use the drip method. (slow) Place the new arrival in a clean container with the water it came in and just use some air line hose with a small knott in it, Start the siphon and let it go - just make sure it doesn't overflow on you

how long do you usually do this for? In the past I have limited it to about an hour, by I am a novice by all means, what does everyone else do?

I HAVE read that when anemones are shipped with little or no water, then they should just be placed into the aquarium, immediately, no acclimation. because there is no water to acclimate.

but, because we are all told to acclimate, acclimate, acclimate, i'm not sure. that's why i would like to know from someone who has done this.

Was the anemone just wet laying in the bag?
When they arrive at the store shipped that way, they float the bag for temperature for a few minutes and then cut open the bags and just put the anemones in the tank.
