Acclimating snails - Question

Nothing to see Move along
I just got a group of snails in the mail. I had intended on drip acclimating them, but they came with little/no water.

So how do I acclimate them?

well give them some water they wont make it long just sitting in the bag. bring what little water is in there up to temp, and start adding water.

I always let snails acclimate themselves. Just make a small shelf right at the water line throw a bit of water on it and put the snails on it they will do the rest. Much easier than any other method I have ever done and near 0 losses that way from ones that are still alive when they arrive.

I just hold them against the glass above the waterline until they attach, then they just crawl down into the water as they please...

Thanks everyone! I got about 75 different sizes and types of snails to try to balance back my 125 system (down to about a dozen snails).

I drip acclimated them and for the most part all of them are now working! A few have not come out yet, but the hermits are leaving them alone so I don't thnk they are dead.

Thanks,

I have used them in the past. I think when you look at their "packages" they include Fedex shipping. You can add to or mix/match with them too. I was more than satisfied with them when I ordered, and will probably order again in a few weeks.
