Achilles availability

DFS/LA,

Can you check w/ your holding facilty to see if they currently have any Acanthurus achilles in quarantine that will be making their way to the site in the coming weeks/months?

I am currently signed up for the daily Diver's Den updates & the specific Achilles stock update email lists. I currently check the site once a day just in case..........just wondering if I should start checking it two or three times daily :D

scar34face,

We have 3 in quarantine now that we hope to offer next week. Also we are expecting more in soon that we plan to offer in a month or so, as we usually quarantine these specimens for a long period of time to ensure they are happy and healthy when they leave our facility.

It’s great that you have signed up for the email updates and will be alerted when the additions are made.

Please contact us with any questions you may have.

Do you happen to know the size's of these achilles? You say they could be available next week, you guys going to update through the holiday then?

Yoboyjdizz,

Thank you for your questions. Our Aquaculture Coral & Marine Life Facility will be doing daily updates to the Diver’s Den during the beginning of the week, as well as on Friday. We will check with this facility for the sizes of the fish in quarantine, and we will post this information as soon as it is available. If you would like to receive updates on new Diver’s Den items, you are certainly welcome to sign up for e-mail alerts at the following link: http://www.liveaquaria.com/DiversDen/DDemailSignUp_form.cfm

yoboyjdizz,

Thank you for your patience. We are sorry that you missed the first Achilles Tang that was offered in our Diver’s Den selection. We have two Achilles Tangs remaining. The first one measures approximately five inches and the second Tang is about six inches.

Carlosngloria,

Thank you for your patience. We apologize that we are unsure when we might expect a three inch (the smaller are more difficult to acquire) Achilles Tang. We have had a couple become available recently and they tend to sell very quickly on our Divers Den site. We recommend signing up for the email notification and watch closely for any new Achilles Tang.

No problem thanks for the quick response, you wouldn't happen to know the sizes of the achilles you have in your facility?

yoboyjdizz,

You’re welcome for the information. We are happy to help. We checked and it is approximately 4 ½” to 6” long. We apologize we are unsure if they it is a male or female. We recommend signing up for the Diver’s Den Alert to watch for this beautiful specimen.

Yoboyjdizz,

Thank you for your patience while we found out more information about the Achilles tangs in the Diver’s Den section. We hope to have one added within the next couple days that measures approximately 6”. We also have a few more in the 4” â€"œ 7” range currently in quarantine that should be ready to go on the site next week.

We would also recommend signing up for the Diver’s Den Alert. As soon as the website is updated you will receive an automatic email to let you know.
