Achilles Tang

Fwiw for those saying you have too many tangs... I have a 210gal and have 10 tangs in it (so far) and don't have any issues (yet).

Powder blue
Clown tang
Desjardini
Blonde naso
Hippo
Kole
3 yellows
Dussumieri

I didn't pay it that much attention. I dont think for a tank my size I have to many tangs. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and feedback is welcome. In fact I also purchased a Regal Tang when I picked up my Achilles Tang. They were both introduced to the QT at the same time and have been buddies. However I do believe this will be all for the tangs. I do plan on Purchasing a few more of smaller fish, Chromis and a few anthias. I will tell ya this, My Achilles will destroy a sheet of algae.

Here are a few pictures of the two.

If you get a healthy one to begin with and give it what it needs, they are easy. We've had ours 4 years now and is one of the most hardy fish we've had. Been thru 3 long distance moves, 2 heater failures and numerous power outages :-)

Well I knew it was to good to be true. I noticed the tip of his pec fin missing and he has started bumping his nose against objects. I have started prazipro for treatment. The reagal tang has a white spec on his body just under the dorsal fin. He hasn't been scratching tho. Both are still eating good.

Update:
Well I moved him to the main take last week and all is good. My mimic did fine with the new addition and both the AT and the hippo seem to enjoy the crib.
