Acro Bleaching Recovery

So I wanted to post this as I have rarely had success bringing bleached Acropora back. When I got this coral it was already rather stressed. Putting it through quarantine and several bayer dips resulted in it having nearly no color just a very bright white/blue color. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pics of it in this state since I thought it was a goner.

This coral though has, with gentle treatment and a period of light acclimation, started its recovery. In this picture you can actually see the zoox repopulating the coral. This actually started from the underside of the coral and is slowly expanding upward toward the polyps and more lit areas.

Well done, it is always nice either having a goner making a comeback, or having something brown turn out to be a stunner. A testament to patience, something that drives this hobby, one day I will figure that out :) Again, great job, you can definitely see the zoox coming in, that is going to be a gorgeous coral!!!

Thanks. Yeah I was pretty sad to think this piece wasn't going to make it. This coral is a big wide open branching type which is one of my favorites.

It was in quarantine about a week. Dipped in Bayer twice during that time. It's been in my display for a little over a week now. Lighting acclimation done using the radion acclimation setting at 75% for 2 weeks.

I actually don't think the lighting is what bleached it. It was very light when I put it into QT.

So for some reason it dropped the 0 on the end.

Also can we not make hyperlinks in the signature line? That would make sense to me but I couldn't get it to work.
