Acro bleaching

Check your parameters.
Alk
Ca
Mag
SG
Temp
NO3
PO4
I personally pay very close attention to alk, especially when dealing with sps. The more consistent, the better.

Bottom up can be flow related, nutrient(PO4) related, or can be a pathogen or bacterial infection usually associated to wild or maricultured coral addtions. Post the above parameters, might help in the diagnosis. Also, if you can provide pics, would be most helpful..

1. Is the skin peeling off? or is it just turning white along with the polyps?
If it is peeling it could be a few things that I know of.
Did you just dose anything? (i.e. lugol's, calicium alk mag etc...)
If the skin is peeling it could also be a bacterial infection / RTN like plyle said - It happens very fast and you will prob need to frag the colony to prevent further death if that is the case...
2. did this happen overnight or has it been a slow process?
3. did you change your lighting?

Also like he said get some pics up as soon as possible...this will help...

Just did my tests nitrates seem to have creeped up to 10-15 ppm the tissue is not peeling off just discoloring,i will try to get some pics, could astra stars be responsible for something like this?

Did you start GFO by any chance? This happened to me when i started GFO with a heavy dose. Apparently a sudden drop of nutrients can cause this

I am not so sure nitrates of 10-15 would bleach SPS, but i guess it could be possible...My nitrates went up to 40 one time before my SPS Tyree sunset colony completely turned white...Each colony is different though...Do a nice water change and monitor that and see what happens...

That is good news that the skin isn't peeling though, RTN can be a nightmare...
