Post pics of acro crabs here. Tell the name (if you know) of the coral that they are living in. I'll start us out with a bad photo of mine. Just a little bit out of focus.

Here's one of mine.

that second pic is probably the coolest picture of a "bandit" crab I have ever seen!!

First pic could be samoensis.. or humilis, however, when you take such close pictures it is hard to identify the coral..

Part my my "reef restart" will be a better camera. :)

That's the kind of shot I'm looking for! Do most of them have white legs?

I just bought my first acro. Nice size piece and when my wife and I were gluing it I saw a crab wedged in there. I tried to stab at him but he just ran around and I was damaging coral so wife was yelling becasue it was 100 piece of rock i was hacking at. We put in aquarium and am hoping this is not a bad guy. He is smooth and orange.

little acro crab. but PS: i bought the acro very browned out because it was so cheap. then it was starting to turn a really nice color green and then i lost about 3"s of water when i was away because my skimmer overflowed and my step dad turned off EVERYTHING. so it turned brown again after no heat, light, flow, and some parts even water for about 16 hours.
but on that same acro i have another one jsut like it. one of the two is carrying eggs. and i have another white masked one somewhere in the tank

I Just bought a new acro. It has a crab with it about the size of a dime (The body). It is yellow/orange color with black spots. He is really cool and I would like to keep him if he is good. Anyone have any ideas.
