Acro frag not growing

I've had this frag since late October and it hasn't grown at all since then. It always has good polyp extension, and it is about 10 inches from an mp10 so I'm pretty sure flow isn't a problem. It's placed at the top of the tank under a maxspect razor led fixture.

My parameters are...
Calcium:430
Alk:9.8
Mag:1350
Nitrate:~5

Anyone have any ideas?

Sometimes it can take months for frags to begin to show any growth.

It looks like it's encrusted a little bit and are those new branch "nubs" at near the left base? The tip looks like a growth tip (i.e whitish). Do you have a picture from October?

I don't have a pic from when I bought it unfortunately, but now that you pointed it out that one tip at the base that is starting to turn white does look like a growth tip. Maybe I'm just too impatient... :lol2:

Take pictures! lol

For us, starring at our tanks daily, it's difficult to notice growth because of how slowly it can occur in stony corals. Honestly, the only way I can tell is through pictures or if the growth tips have a white/different color from the colony.

I compare pictures once a month and find noticeable growth.

Yeah I have some frags that won't move for a year, and then boom, the start growing like a weed.

Pics is definitely a good idea to notice changes in a coral. I find I see my biggest changes after getting home from a holiday ... growth isn't any better, but I just notice it more.

If its got PE, and good color ... just give it time, the coral looks very healthy.
