Ok I found two white tubes right below my acro that came on the same piece of rock as the acro. I'm unsure on how to post pics straight to the form so I put them in my profile under my 55 gallon in wall build. I posted three pics and theres more info on the first pic of the problem. Please check it out and let me know if this is going to become a major problem or not. Or maybe its not them and its happen due to poor care. It's my first acro ever so its possible. I do have a few other sps and they are all looking great and growing. Thanks

Looks like a vermetid snail or feather duster or one of each. Also looks like some necrosis near the base. The vermetids do irritate corals though. Could scrape it off with your fingernail, or just lock it in its shell with some superglue.

If you have fragging tools cut that snail off and get as much out of tank, they spread and definately irritated that acro.

That's what I was thinking. Should I cut what I know for sure is alive and just take the rock out? I already moved it into a spot with really high flow but I don't want to wait and have it all die

I wouldn't move it, just get rid of that encrusted snail. I use my frag cutters to cut the whole tube off and toss it. The coral will recover but it will take some time. I'd get it back to where it was, the higher flow may do more damage to the injured tissue.
Goog luck

Ok thanks sully. That's what I like about reef central, good reliable answers. I do try to look on Google first for my problems but one thing I read was to put it into higher flow to keep anything from sticking but they never explained that it will affect the tissue growth. Thanks again
