hey guys im new to the sps world. ok so i orderd some corals and one sps frag and a alk test kit. the problem is the test kit hasnt arrived but the acro frag has. i noticed that the acro frag fell from its spot next to the rbta, jurries out on if it got stung. i noticed a tiny white patch of skeleton near where it was glued on the base. im freaked out because i think it may be stn but there is no way i can tell till the kit comes on friday to test the alk. ive kept every coral under the sun and have only tested for ph, i also have a poccilopora that is doing fine but that doesnt say much now does it. i have absoloutley pristine water quality as i vodka dose and run gfo. is this a normal spot on the base, i have to assume some die off occurs when sps corals are fragged, i am at a disadvantage here. i am going to be running kalkwasser when i can test. this is driving me insane, its like not knowing that you have an std,u need to test for it. i hate usps they suck. sorry.. i know alk is important but with only one sps the intake is not much is the alk in the reef crystals enough to sustain it? will the coral survive till friday? too many questions, stay tuned. thanks
