it matches up with the aims "color" description...
as the picture whitened the coral out alot... it is no where's near that white...
 
graham would've told you if it's a nasuta. it's like his favorite coral and he can prob identify one in his sleep. it's not a nasuta =]
 
I like nasuta as well, although I would personally just call it "a pretty cool coral that I like" for its name. :)
 
Brandon.... i believe i may have a frag of that from the person you got it from, and it has since darkened up a lot, it is green base and branches with blue tips.. if thats the one from Mark..

yes it is the one from mark :) do you have a pic of it now... i've had this one a little less then a week and see the green comming back into it...
 
Hi Folks,

I just saw this thread and I thought I might chime in. When I first saw this photo I was also thinking A. nasuta with the shallow saucer shaped radial corallites but the branch length kinda bothered me to the point where I started looking around. And then I found a species that seems to match it a bit more= A. mirabilis. They have somewhat long tapered branches, thinner rather than thick branches and short radial corallites. I have gotten a few in over this past year that match this to some extent and this is what I come up with..... Take it for what its worth :)
