1. Maybe A. bifurcata if it tables. http://coral.aims.gov.au/factsheet.jsp?speciesCode=0819
2. I am leaning towards Acropora abrolhosensis if it grows like a fuzzy stag. http://coral.aims.gov.au/factsheet.jsp?speciesCode=0059
3. Maybe A. gomezi if it is a slow grower. http://coral.aims.gov.au/factsheet.jsp?speciesCode=0922
4. This one is growing weird making it difficult. I would initially guess A. samoensis. http://coral.aims.gov.au/factsheet.jsp?speciesCode=0060

Thanks for the ID's Jason, no. 4 is pretty weird, but it does look a lot like the Samoensis.

I'm still confused about no. 2. I took a couple more pics, if it helps. It seemed to look like the hoek ID, http://coral.aims.gov.au/factsheet.jsp?speciesCode=0644, but pics on the net and from LiveAquaria seem different.

Maybe. A. hoeksemai typically doesn't have that much polyp extension. That one has a few new branchlets growing on the base there and from the two I have had, they didn't want to grow any new branches until they got much bigger. (not saying that is a method of iD or confirmation just my experience with the coral.)

Thanks for your thoughts Jason .

I've often read that Hoeks are rather sensitive, mine isn't. PE also as you mentioned, is quite a lot. The branchlets at the base are very recent. Have had this piece for almost 2 years now. In any case, it's still nice enough, maybe as it grows, we'll have a better idea of it's ID .
