Acro issues - am I missing something?

I have some Acros that are showing some issues. I don't see anything on the pictures, and I dipped 3 affected pieces in fresh water, bayer, and iodine; didn't find any critters. The symptoms look similar to AEFW, but I can't find any eggs or Flatworms. while inspecting one of the pieces, I saw something that looked off, but it kinda disintegrated when I touched it with a tooth pick. Not sure if it was a flatworm not letting go or just dead flesh. I have attached some pictures of a small milli frag that has 2 affected spots. The most affected coral has been a tri-color, but it's not in a good place to take pictures.

The only problem chemistry wise is my alk has crept up from 7.7 to 9 over the past month. PH probe on the CaRX is due to be calibrated. In my experience alk swings typically affect the tip or cause RTN; never noticed spots of necrosis from an Alk swing.

Current parameters:
Alk: 9dkh
Ca: not sure, running a CaRX and it has never been out of line with Alk.
phos: .04
NO3: 5(ish)
Salinity: 1.026

Thanks for looking and I appreciate any advice.

and a FTS just because:

Me too .....but I found my alk over 11dkh so I really let it go ....shows how lazy I was and let my testing go to the way side I guess I got to comfortable with the calcium reactor ...and my ph controller was giving false readings due to moisture in the controller.

Honestly doesn't look like AEFW is the culprit from the pic. You would see at least a couple tiny circular bite marks it you were starting to see tissue loss like that (generally that is) and I don't see a single bite mark in those picks. It's kind of odd for sure though. It almost looks like it was stung by another coral. I have had similar things like this happen when I Alk crept up but normally its at the bottom or on the tips. Following along to see what u find.

That's been my experience with alk swings too. Letting the alk drop down to 7.7ish which will take a few days . No noticeable change, better or worse, as of yet.

I inspected some of the spots more closely, and can't find any sign of critters.
