Acro losing color and turning brown after fragging

Hello everyone,

I've had my green acro that I received as a little frag about a year ago and it's been doing extremely well since then giving me a bunch of new polyps and so on. So last week I decided to cut a few frags which I currently have in my frag plate in the tank and since then the colony has started to brown on one of the sides as well as the frags. The other side of the original colony is doing fine though which is what I don't get.

Do you think it's because of the stress of getting cut up? My parameters have always been fine and I've never had a problem with my acros before except for this one after fragging it. Is this something that will come back to normal after some time?

Sorry for the super long question... I just don't know if it's going to start dying on me for cutting the poor thing up!

This is a picture showing the fading color or
Browning on the colony after cutting

this is the other side of the colony which is still doing great, no color fading

These are the newly cut frags that are also fading or browning

Never had this happen before personally. Yeah it could just be stress from fragging. Make sure your water is in check and just keep an eye on them.
