Acro Placement?

McCrary

Can't Stop Time
I recently purchased a acropora pulchra and a acropora chesterfieldensis. I was hoping to maximize color while still retaining good growth. Where should these corals be placed? Any advice would be helpful.

My chester is at the top of the tank. I do have a pulchra, but other than needing a lot of flow- I haven't figured out the perfect lighting for it yet.

Not a good one, I'll have to see if I can get one. Still pretty much a frag. Dosen't grow fast, that's for sure.

Much greener than the pic and weird encrusting growth pattern. Kind of just a blob with a few branches starting. Very very bright acro. Unfortunately, it is in a place where I can't seem to get a good pic.

holy thread resurrection! ;)

I just got a chester also and put it at the top of my tank right under the MH.. there is quite a bit of flow there also.. I take it that's a good thing? These chester acros seem to have a lot of fleshy polyp "meat" and I thought maybe that might get thrashed around too much in intense flow areas? or is it not a big deal? it's getting indirect turbulent flow "wash" caused by two stream coliding near by... I think it should be happy with that plus the good lighting there.. but thought I would ask just for grins. :)
