Acro polyp question

This is my first acro but these stringy polyps are a good thing right?

Those are mesenterial filaments, in this case it looks stress related.

How can you tell it looks stress related? Don't those usually come out when they're feeding?

I would just check your parameters and cross your fingers. I dont usually see mine come out when I feed the tank. I only see it if my nem starts touching an acro or if i stir up detritus in my sump. Both of those are stress responses.

Ok well I guess that explains it because I accidentally stirred up detritus in my sump yesterday and then the filaments came out. The polyps are out and open right now so I think it's ok.

Some of mine do the same when I feed.
