Acro Question??

I rescued this from a friends tank. Its some kind of ORA Acropora. He's been having issues with water parameters so it has started to bleach out. The tips are completely white. What can I do to rescue it? Do I need to cut the tips or leave it be?

salinity - 1.026
nitrate - 0
nitrite - 0
ammonia - 0
pH - 8.0
calcium - 440
alk - 10 dKh
phosphate - 0.25

Leave them for now but if algae starts to grow, clip 'em.

do you have SPS in your tank ?

with good water parameters, it should get its tissue back in no time .

Yes, I have a frag of Red Planet that is doing wonderful as well as some scroll coral. Hopefully it will bounce back. I'm optimistic
