Acropora eating snail?

Hallo,I found this snail eating flesh of my acropora coral.Anybody have any idea what is it? Looks like some kind of Conch snail,came on my LR.Never heard of snail eating acro.

not that I"m an expert, but .. could the snail have been munching on decaying or already dead areas?

no,I took him of munching fresh flesh,I saw this acro about week ago was missing flesh,I tought it is RTN or STN but was not getting any worst.Today snail was on this acro,you could see fresh bites,very white part.If it was eating decaying area he would eat the algae starting to cover dead area of this acro.

I found images by googling conch snail and seen what looks like what you have. Never heard of them eating coral tho.
