Acropora Hoeksemai & Abrotanoides placement

I just picked up an Acropora Hoeksemai & Acropora Abrotanoides from Divers Den and was wondering where people are placing them relative to flow and light intensity. From what I understand from the coral library they both like shallow reefs, or lots of light. I would like some feedback on where people are having success in their reef aquaria.

My experience with the A.A. is that under my 250w halides it turned from a lovely pink and purple color to a not so lovely brown... another friend had his directly under 400w halides, and it did hold its color a bit, however not as vibrant.

So yeah... LOTS of light.

Ha...those have been the two of hardest acropora to keep IME. Both lots of light and flow.

I'll try to cook them with light but it sounds like they would have been better off in my old 300g

My hoek loves medium flow but strong light. Too much flow and the PE suffers.
