Acropora STN (photos)

I have a STN problem in acropora for a week, the acro tissue lost from the base and under branches, I don´t know why because all of parameters are good.

I've been using Zeovit method for 9 months from the beginning.

Any idea?

Water parameters net volume: 600 liters

Ca= 440
Mg=1290
Kh=7
NO3=0-0.2
PO4=0-0.01
K+=? (I have no test)
Salinity=1026


Zeovit dosing

Zeobak= 6 drops 2 x week
Zeostart= 0.3ml 2 x week
Sponge Power= 5 drops 4 x week
Coral Vitalizer= 4 drops 3 x week
Bio Mate= 6 drops 2 x week
1.5 liters of zeovit zeolites @ 400 l/h (decreased flow after start STN without changes)


I,m worried about the others pieces, although all looks good. Could be low/high K+ or very low nutrients system??

Any advise will be apreciated.

In my opinion your Kh could be a bit higher say 8-9. Mine hovers at around 8.5 but when it drops below 8 the corals react by STNing (I think I just made up a word).
As for the low nutrients, that is apparent in the color of your corals. I would increase feeding. You don't have many fish that would need heavy feeding so I would feed the coral. I don't use Zeo products but I do run a low nutrient system using just GFO and my corals will lighten if I don't feed heavily.

Thank you, the recommended kh on zeovit method is between 6.5-7.5, In the coming days will feed more the corals and observe the results.
