Am I correct in reading that you've had the green acro for 4 months, it was green and then turned brown last week?

Or is a new acro?

If you've had it for 4 months, can you tell me:

1. Which salt brand you are using and how much weekly water change you are doing?

2. How are you dosing Ca/Alk/mg? Calcium reactor? Dosing 2/3 part? Which brand if dosing 2/3part?

3. Have you dosed anything new recently or added GAC/GFO recently?

My Bali Slimmer did the same thing.. It was merely a stress response after being moved about and stuck on a new rock, it's all nice and green again now.. It took about 1 - 2 weeks to revert back to it's original colour.

I understand from researching similar that the brown is an increase in Zoox to aid in the recovery after a stressful experience.

Think of it as chocolate for the Mrs when she's feeling stressed ;)

Of course, there could be other factors, but if water params are ok, then just leave well alone and let it recover in it's own time.
