Hey guys!

need some help!!

my tank is running now for 3/4 of a year and suddenly, like since January, my acros are browning out and are showing no polyps and are sliming a bit...

since november i´m running 3 Radion Pros over my tank.
currently using the SPS PHX14 from Coral Lab which Ecotech released earlier last month @60% 9" over my water level

my water parameters are looking good, just got them tested by ATI.

i hope somebody here can help me!!

Thanks

Do you run any carbon? I had issues with some polyps polluting the tank which caused issues with some of my SPS.

6-7 is low for alk. What temp specifically? Do you have a heater or chiller? You could be getting temp variations at night.

If everything else checks out, then check for pests. I know, I know... nobody ever has them... but then they do.

What did you run for lights before November? If you still have them, put them back on and see if the corals go back to what you are expecting.

will check again for pests... already dipped one coral, nothing fell off...

the lights i used before are already sold... so can´t but them back on...

the funny thing is one acro is coming back, have to check again today, but it got green and yesterday i saw some polyps... hope the others will follow very soon

keep you posted

i started giving iodine and took down the tropic marin tricks reactor... a friend of mine thinks that maybe i got too much media in the reactor... lets wait and see how it goes!!
